[28 Nov] Vietnam Rubber Group Leases Land to 3 Companies

The Vietnam Rubber Group has signed memorandums of understanding with three companies to lease 36ha of land in its two southern industrial parks.
The Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company, or Casumina, will lease 30ha in the Phuoc Dong Boi Loi Industrial Park in Tay Ninh Province and Quan Dat Production and Trade Ltd and Vinh Kim Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company will respectively lease five hectares and one hectare in the Dong Nam Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh City. VRG signed another agreement with the UK's Hyder Consulting for design planning consultancy for the two parks.
The deals have been signed at a seminar held in HCM City on promoting investment into VRG-owned IPs and urban areas. Dong Nam spreads over 342 ha in HCM City's Cu Chi District, with several ha earmarked for building housing for workers, including foreign staff.
"Dong Nam IP is an excellent investment location for businesses requiring complete infrastructure," said Tran Cong Kha, general director of the groups Sai Gon VRG Investment Holdings Corp.
The park gives priority to clean and efficient technology-based operations like electronic production and assembling, information technology, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, plastics, hi-tech rubber, and nano-technology.
