[17 Nov] Japan End-Oct Natural Rubber Stocks 4,038 Tons

Natural rubber stocks in Japan as of Oct. 31 declined to 4,038 metric tons from 4,195 tons on Oct. 20, according to data issued Monday by the Rubber Trade Association of Japan.
Japan's natural rubber stocks have declined 60% since end-May.
Natural latex stocks rose to 295 tons from 268 tons, while synthetic rubber stocks rose to 801 tons from 746 tons.
The association didn't provide any reasons for the changes.
Tight supply in Thailand and Indonesia, the world's top producing and exporting countries, along with strong demand from tire makers in Japan, may have led to the decline in natural rubber stocks, traders said.
