[28 Nov] Japan November 20 Natural Rubber Stocks 4,721 Tons

Natural rubber stocks in Japan as of Nov. 20 rose to 4,721 metric tons from 3,902 tons Nov. 10, according to data issued Friday by the Rubber Trade Association of Japan.
Japan's natural rubber stocks had declined to historically low levels Nov. 10 and are still 53% lower compared with end-May.
Natural latex stocks fell to 227 tons from 283 tons, while synthetic rubber stocks rose to 818 tons from 667 tons.
The association didn't provide any reasons for the changes.
Tight supply in Thailand and Indonesia, the world's top producing and exporting countries, along with strong demand from tire makers in Japan, may have prompted buyers to aggressively replenish stocks to avoid scarcity over the next few months, traders said.
Until early this month, factories were using up existing inventories, which are cheaper than new purchases, as prices have hit 13-month highs in November.
