[11 Jan] China December Natural Rubber Imports up 66% on Year

China's natural rubber imports in December rose 66% to 180,000 metric tons, the General Administration of Customs said Sunday.

In 2009, natural rubber imports rose 1.7% to total 1.71 million tons.

China is the world's biggest importer of natural rubber and gets most of its supplies from Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia - the world's leading natural rubber producers.
