Tyre Grade Sold At Hefty Discount In China - Trade

Indonesian tyre grade SIR20 rubber stored in Chinese warehouses was sold at a discount of up to $100 to spot prices quoted in Southeast Asia, the biggest discount this year, as Beijing's monetary tightening curbed demand, dealers said on Tuesday (Apr 19).
Other grades such as Thai RSS3, STR20 and SMR20 also changed hands at a discount to prices quoted in Southeast Asia, while declines in inventories in Shanghai indicated that some consumers were selling back their cargoes, they said.
