JAKARTA (Commodity Online) : Rubber industry’s premier global conference, The 2011 Global Rubber & Tire Summit, Jakarta, will take place June 8-9, 2011.
The event is expecting to draw worldwide attendees and would explore the developments in rubber production, market outlook, and industry issues.
Event will field expert speakers and would deliver pertinent presentations, it is expected.
Also on the plate are networking sessions, providing attendees extensive interaction with the industry. As the event progresses, the leaders and attendees will discuss issues of critical importance to the industry, as well as explore lucrative prospects in key rubber & tire markets including Indonesia, China and more.
Leading the country-focused sessions will be PT. Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk with a presentation entitled “Will Indonesia Become the Tire Production Base for the World?”. The company’s Corporate Planning & Learning Manager, Wayah S. Wiroto, will touch on Indonesia’s domestic tire market demand and outlook, role as exporter, challenges & opportunities for domestic tire producers and more.
Meanwhile China National Tire & Rubber Corporation will give a review on latest developments in European legislation for tire imports and standards, and their corresponding impact on China’s Tire Sector and Export Outlook. Speaking too is James Yang, Marketing Manager for Rubber Reinforcement (Asia South) at Bekaert Singapore Pte Ltd, with his macro perspective on the global tire & cord market outlook with specific focus on Asia.
Also featured at the conference will be two specific addresses on raw materials outlook for Natural Rubber and Synthetic Rubber markets, by IRSG (International Rubber Study Group) and CMAI (Chemical Market Associates Pte Ltd) respectively.
There are contributions from Lanxess International SA, with paper on Butyl Rubbermarket outlook & challenges, and EVONIK Degussa Taiwan Limited who will share on Silica and Silane developments to meet modern tire requirements.
