The Rubber Board provides financial assistance to producers of rubber companies (NCR) for the purchase of computers and peripherals, access to information technology (IT) enabled services to facilitate rubber plantation development plan.
Participation is limited to 45,000 rupees per RPS or 75 percent of the actual cost of computers and peripherals. Operation of NCR in its own building or rented building and business relationships with companies continuously in the area of PRS and a good track record are eligible.
The Council will contribute 40 NCR, the unit during the year to acquire.
The Commission is expected to authorize the use of IT-enabled services for the community of rubber plantation farmers with the latest information on New World soil, and the international market situation.
The computerization of the NCR is also the accounting records and procedures more transparent and thus attract more producers group activities, which in turn protects them from exploitation by middlemen.
