Benchmark Tokyo rubber futures rose more than 3 percent from the open on Tuesday (Apr 5) supported by a weaker yen, higher oil prices and supply concerns.
The key Tokyo Commodity Exchangeable rubber contract for September delivery rose as high as 464.1 yen per kg in early morning trade, up from Monday's (Apr 4) settlement price of 444.1 yen.
