18 August 2010 – Japan’s NR stocks rose 3.7% to 3,396 metric tons on 10 August, compared with 3,275 metric tons on 31 July, according to data released by the Rubber Trade Association of Japan.
In the last few months, NR inventories have been declining steadily, but they have been replenished actively.
The stocks level of 2,628 tons as on July 20, was still a record low and although the inventory was higher on 10 August, it is still considered low.
